The PlayStation 5 Leads In A Survey By A Landslide

The survey, which was done in the United Kingdom, also shows that the next-gen consoles have a lot of interest.

MCVUK reported about Experience 12’s survey, which collected data from 3000 fans through MCM Comic Con’s online channels. 80% of the respondents were in the prime (18-to-34-year-old) category. 58% were male, and 41% were female, non-binary, or non-conforming.

84% said they planned to buy a new console within six months of launch – 37% would do so right at launch, 9% within a month, 12% within 3 months, and 26% within six months. 84% of the respondents were more interested in the PlayStation 5, and only 15% were most anticipating the Xbox Series X. Many of the respondents were PlayStation-based: the PlayStation 4 is the preferred platform for 59% of them, followed by the Xbox One (16%), PC (14%), and Nintendo Switch (8%). Their most anticipated game is Cyberpunk 2077 was #1, followed by Marvel’s Avengers, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, Dying Light 2, and Halo Infinite.

„[The] PlayStation[ 5′]s next dev kit update arrives in a few weeks which will feature [a] „retail mode” so devs can see what the final set up will be. The current system is debug only with PlayStation 4 retail mode. Expect that PlayStation will show it off before it goes live to avoid leaks,” Tidux, an alleged PlayStation insider, wrote on Twitter.

We’re saying alleged, as not all his information turned out to be true. The head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, said that we should expect another Xbox Series X broadcast in August, and we have also heard that Sony might be doing a stream next month. But, if they do announce the PlayStation 5’s UI, they will do so via the PlayStation Blog – they have used it to reveal the DualSense controller before.

Both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will launch this Holiday season.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
