Hitman III: Agent 47 Goes To Dubai [VIDEO]

The final part of the Hitman reboot trilogy takes our bold and bald agent to new places.

Thanks to Game Informer, we now get to see the first five minutes of the first mission of Hitman III. Here, Agent 47 is present in the tallest skyscraper built on Earth, namely Dubai’s Burj Khalifa. It seems to be a pretty strong start, but it’s too early to judge if IO Interactive‘s game (which will be self-puslished this time) is good or not going by this sole video.

Back when IO Interactive revealed Chongqing in Hitman III, we wrote the following about the game: „Powered by IO Interactive’s proprietary Glacier engine, Hitman III will look, sound and play better than ever with improvements to lighting, reflections, animation and AI. Chongqing also features full water effects, with details such as raindrops hitting Agent 47 and his clothes getting wet, all adding to the immersion of experiencing Hitman III.

On next-gen consoles, Hitman III will run in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second with HDR support. The latest “Under The Hood” trailer showcases this brand new location with smooth new gameplay moments that show off the refinements to interaction animation and AI, as well as Glacier’s crowd technology that will allow up to 300 NPCs in a location at once. Hitman III players can import locations from the previous games in the trilogy and have more than 20 locations under one roof. All of the improvements to rendering, animation and AI introduced with HITMAN 3 can be enjoyed across all three games, making Hitman III the ultimate place to play the entire World of Assassination trilogy.”

Hitman III launches on January 20 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC (as an Epic Games Store-exclusive), Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch will receive a cloud version later.
