Xbox Game Pass: No Slowing Down In Updates During The Summer

The Redmond-based company announced the next batch of update its subscription service will get.

 

On June 23, Worms Rumble (console [Xbox Series, Xbox One], PC, cloud [iOS, Android, PC via browser…], indie title [ID@Xbox]) has joined the system. On June 24, Iron Harvest (PC), Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered (console, PC, EA Play title); and Prodeus (PC, game preview, ID@Xbox) joins Game Pass.

On July 1, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts (cloud), Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling (console, PC, cloud, ID@Xbox), Gang Beasts (console, PC, cloud, ID@Xbox), Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars (console, PC, cloud), and LIMBO (console, PC, cloud, ID@Xbox) joins the platform. As a reminder, Microsoft brings our attention to Medieval Dynasty (PC, ID@Xbox). Even more cloud-enabled titles received Xbox Touch Controls on mobile platforms. They are DIRT 5, Double Kick Heroes, Eastshade, Empire of Sin, Haven, Octopath Traveler, Torchlight III, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

A lot of DLC and updates are coming: Black Desert x Bugatti Event is available until July 7; Game Pass subscribers can get Dead by Daylight: The Resident Evil Chapter with a 10% discount; Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s 7th season has started; Microsoft Flight Simulator got its fifth world update (the Nordic region); Minecraft: Sonic the Hedgehog DLC is available with a 10% discount; NBA 2K21’s 8th season has started; For Honor’s 5th year’s second season has launched, and subscribers can get the battle pass with a 10% discount; Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life is available; Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order received its Xbox Series update (the game is available via EA Play); and The Elder Scrolls Online: Console Enhanced also got an Xbox Series update.

The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perks this month include two-week early access to Space Jam: A New Legacy – The Game (from July 1; we will discuss this game in detail later today); free items await in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis; and you can try Disney+ for free for thirty days. The Xbox Game Pass Quests will be quoted from the post: „Sports and Pride-themed Quests give you lots of gaming opportunities to earn points you can redeem for Rewards like more Xbox Game Pass (make sure to redeem all quests by July 5!). The daily Game Pass mobile log in Quest continues to reward you 20 points each day that you log in from now until July 5.”

And finally, these games will leave Xbox Game Pass on June 30: Battle Chasers: Nightwar (console, PC, cloud), Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite (console, PC, cloud), The Messenger (console, PC, cloud), Mistover (PC), Monster Hunter: World (console, cloud), Out of the Park Baseball 21 (PC), Outer Wilds (console, cloud), and Soulcalibur VI (console).
