New Details of the Second Season of the Witcher on Netflix: Release Date, Trailer and Images [VIDEO]

MOVIE NEWS – We will enjoy 8 episodes that will continue the saga of Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher on Netflix in December 2021.

Continuing with the news of WitcherCon 2021, one that simply could not be missed, was the second season of The Witcher on Netflix. The conference not only brought news about its premiere date but also revealed the list of episodes, a new trailer and even some images. What a treat!

Although some scenes from the trailer had previously been shown in teasers, there is definitely new footage to watch. This is the official description of the second season: “Convinced that Yennefer’s life came to an end at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia takes Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, her home in Kaer Morhen. As kings, elves, humans and demons fight for supremacy, Geralt must protect the girl from something even more dangerous: the mysterious power that lies within her. ”

As you can see, this season will focus a lot on the relationship between these two characters. Like in the game, in the safety of Kaer Morhen, Geralt will train Ciri and attempt to unleash her tremendous hidden potential. This girl will grow throughout the episodes, as we can see in the new official images that Netflix published.

The season will have a total of 8 episodes. In fact, at WitcherCon they even announced the titles and logos of each one, except for the last one:

The names of the episodes are as follows:

  • A Grain of Truth
  • Kaer Morhen
  • What is lost
