Attention PS4 Spider-Man Fans! There Will be An Obvious Reference to An Important Character From the Game in Spider-Man: No Way Home!

MOVIE NEWS – This character was a prominent character in the game and the organisation he ran – and perhaps both will make it into Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Barring a possible fourth COVID wave, the third Tom Holland Spider-Man movie is currently set to hit theatres on December 17, 2021, less than six months away. It’s surprising, then, that information is still trickling in about the next blockbuster superhero movie. For now, all that’s certain is that Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange will be joined by Electro (Jamie Foxx) and Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina) in No Way Home. Still, although they’re all in the PS4 game, a recent photo from the set suggests that the latter two supervillains won’t be the real threat to Spider-Man.

The photo below shows Doctor Strange and Peter Parker, possibly in front of the Sanctum Santorum building in New York City, and a truck with F.E.A.S.T. lettering. Does that name sound familiar? It’s no coincidence because, in Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4 and PS5, it was the name of the homeless shelter where May Parker (and Miles Morales) volunteered – and whose boss was none other than Martin Li, or none other than Mister Negative, with whom Spider-Man fought on more than one occasion.

Of course, it’s pretty much a given that it’s just an easter egg. Still, since The Hawk and the Winter Soldier, it’s been evident that, even though the Endgame wiped out the effects of Thanos’ snap, the ‘Returned’ can’t always pick up where they left off – which makes organisations like F.E.A.S.T. particularly valuable.
