After the Netflix timed exclusivity period ended, the video was uploaded to YouTube at 3 a.m. our time.

As expected, the extended Grand Theft Auto VI trailer on Netflix was recorded on a standard PlayStation 5, as Rockstar and Take-Two had previously stated that the game would run best on Sony’s hardware. Perhaps we’ll get to see how it runs on the PlayStation 5 Pro later on. The demo began with a drug deal gone wrong, which gave us our first detailed glimpse of the gameplay. Once they left the apartment, we saw the in-game driving for the first time and experienced some of the unexpected events unfolding in the city. Players can complete the missions as either Jason or Lucia, together or separately. Compared to Grand Theft Auto V, the Wanted system has changed. Now, a circle on the map indicates the area where the police are pursuing the pair instead of having a separate mini-map marker for each police car.

Players can navigate the Florida-style Everglades by motorboat. A training sequence was shown, but it’s unclear whether it was a cutscene or part of the gameplay. Players can also travel by kayak on open water now. Before committing a crime, you can change your appearance with different masks, hats, and clothing, which reduces your wanted level. Players can also carry out heists, in which one player robs the store while the other plays the role of the getaway driver. A short video showed Lucia driving away while an influencer streamed live from her car. The chat from the stream was visible on the right side of the screen.

Players can participate in off-road motorcycle races. A video was shown in which Lucia jumps off a building with a parachute, clearly demonstrating the game’s field of view. They also demonstrated character switching. The in-game mechanics are similar to those in Grand Theft Auto V, and there will certainly be the option to have sex. The game is set to be released on November 19 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
