Aloy’s adventures will continue in February 2021 with Horizon Forbidden West, and you can buy these versions for all tastes. Helas, those do not include a free PlayStation 5 upgrade.

 

There is no doubt that Horizon Forbidden West, a sequel to the great Horizon Zero Dawn, is one of the most anticipated games on PS5, although it will also be released on PS4. Recently, and although it had already been rumoured for a few weeks, the delay in its publication has been confirmed. The Adventures of Aloy would come this year, but eventually, we will have to wait until February 2022.

To make up for the wait a bit, we can make our mouths water with the Horizon Forbidden West collector’s special editions just announced from PlayStation, which will be available from launch. And they are sure to be a blessing for the millions of followers of this saga, which sold more than 10 million units with its first instalment. The Horizon Forbidden West release date is February 18, 2022, for PS4 and PS5. We may soon learn more details about the long-awaited adventure, which will take Aloy to explore the west to face new machines and dangers and dive into the underwater world. On September 9, there will be a new PlayStation Showcase where we may see new material from the game. Meanwhile, you can calm the wait with this 15-minute gameplay.

Unfortunately, the Horizon Forbidden West PlayStation 4 Standard and Special editions will not include a free PlayStation 5 upgrade, Sony confirmed today.
