Xbox and 343 Industries have released an app to Halo Infinite, in which now you become the protagonist of the game.

Halo Infinite is just a few days away from arriving to our homes, and to celebrate the arrival of Master Chief’s new adventure, Xbox and the studio in charge of the game, 343 Industries, launched an experience that will put you inside the helmet of the protagonist. By scanning your face with your PC’s camera, you can now become Halo Infinite protagonist, Master Chief, says 3DJuegos.

You will be able to download the video and share it with your friends. When you enter the official website prepared by Xbox, an application called ‘Become the Master Chief‘ will start. Then you will have to enter your age, followed by allowing access to your PC’s camera. After these steps, you will be able to download a personalized video where you will be inside the helmet of the Master Chief.

If you liked the result, you will be able to save the video to keep it as a souvenir, or even share it on social media. There’s no mention of how long the app will be available, but December 8, Halo Infinite’s official release date, might be our best indicator. Speaking of which, the next Halo games do not plan to show the Master Chief’s face, as the franchise’s creative director, Joseph Staten, believes that the ‘anonymous hero’ is very important, and at least for the time being, the mystery should be preserved.
