Enola Holmes 2: First Footage & The Synopsis Of The Netflix Movie Is Out! [VIDEO]

MOVIE NEWS – Netflix has released the first official footage from Enola Holmes 2, as well as a synopsis that shares new details about the sequel.

 

 

New footage from Enola Holmes 2 has been revealed. On Thursday, Netflix released a fresh teaser highlighting all the big releases coming to the streaming service in 2022. It also includes the first footage from Enola Holmes 2, revealing a new look at Millie Bobby Brown as the titular mystery solver and Henry Cavill reprising his big brother Sherlock’s mockery. Watch the trailer below, with footage of Miss Holmes’ latest adventures starting at 1:04 minutes.

In addition to the short teaser, Netflix has also released a synopsis of the film, which sheds some new light on the plot. Here it is:

“Now a detective-for-hire like her infamous brother, Enola Holmes takes on her first official case to find a missing girl, as the sparks of a dangerous conspiracy ignite a mystery that requires the help of friends – and Sherlock himself – to unravel…”

In Enola Holmes 2, Brown and Cavill team up again with director Harry Bradbeer and writer Jack Thorne. Louis Partridge also returns in the sequel, appearing on set in a video announcing the movie’s filming with Brown. The cast also brings back Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes.

Fans who want more can continue the story of Miss Holmes in a separate comic book

The graphic novel Enola Holmes: Mycroft’s Dangerous Game, published by Legendary Comics, features the likeness of Millie Bobby Brown and presents an original story that bridges the gap between the films. The book will be published on 23 August 2022.

No official premiere date has been announced, but the film will arrive on Netflix sometime in 2022. Other significant projects teased in the teaser include the second instalment of Rian Johnson’s Knives Out,The Adam Project with Ryan Reynolds and Slumberland starring Jason Momoa, among others. You can only watch the first part on Netflix for now.
