CD Projekt Does Not Forget About Cyberpunk 2077: More Expansions To Come For The Action RPG

Although there have been rumours of a possible cancellation, CD Projekt RED continues to expand the Cyberpunk 2077 experience.

Recently, CD Projekt RED made headlines with an important piece of news: The Witcher 4 is already in development and will use Unreal Engine 5. However, the Polish studio has also reserved a tiny space for a reminder that Cyberpunk 2077 still has a lot in store and will follow the company’s plans with a new expansion.

“REDengine, the technology which powers Cyberpunk 2077, is still being used for the development of the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 expansion” – CD Projekt RED

Amidst the flood of information about the next adventure for Geralt of Rivia, the authors note that “along with these announcements, CD Projekt RED also confirms that REDengine, the technology which powers Cyberpunk 2077, is still being used for the development of the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 expansion.” Which, in other words, puts an end to rumours of an alleged cancellation.

After all, the various locations of Cyberpunk 2077 have generated all sorts of speculation among users. As mentioned in the previous paragraph, this has even led to speculation about the alleged cancellation of future expansions for Cyberpunk 2077, despite the fact that the game’s developers confirmed the release of new content last October.

One of the latest news about the action-RPG is related to the next-gen versions, as the developers have recently made a big splash with the graphically enhanced editions and the long-awaited Patch 1.5, which has improved the game, which was sometimes very problematic.
