Tales From The Borderlands: Fresh Details Leaked About The Sequel!

New information about the new Tales from the Borderlands game has emerged, revealing a general review and some playable characters.

With the release of Tales from the Borderlands, the FPS franchise took a different path, as players were immersed in a story-driven game where they could choose their own adventure. A sequel is in the works, and a sneak peek of the new episode was recently revealed.

In a similar style to the first Tales From the Borderlands, players will be able to choose what happens in the game.

The setting will still be Pandora, the original planet where all the games occur, although details about the playable characters have been released, introducing a new cast of characters. Instead of Rhys or Fiona, players will be able to choose between a scientist named Anu and Fran, the owner of a frozen yoghurt shop. The third character could be Anu’s brother Octavio, but nothing is set in stone yet.

With the new crew comes the game’s M18 rating for gore and violence, as we can expect shootouts, mutilation and carnage of the living and the dead in the new Tales from the Borderlands. Decisions made by the player will affect the character controlled at that point and could potentially be fatal, forcing the player to restart at the previous checkpoint to try again.

The M rating is required due to the game’s violent nature – leaving Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands as the only T-rated game in the series.

In many other ways, the sequel will also differ from the first Tales from the Borderlands game. Telltale Games has been replaced by Gearbox, which closed its doors in 2018. The number of combat situations and deaths will be higher than in the original, with expanded classification information including several situations that involve murder, such as one in which a person is frozen, and his body is smashed to pieces.

Although Handsome Jack and his pranks are supposed to be absent from the sequel, hopefully, comedy will continue to dominate the carnage, as it has always been one of the series’ greatest strengths.
