Private Division announced Piccolo Studio’s new game After Us at The Game Awards.

After Us takes place on a post-human Earth where players take on the role of Gaia, the Spirit of Life. Gaia must give Earth a second chance in this environmental platformer. Save the souls of extinct animals and bring them back to life after learning their ultimate fate.

The game’s trailer shows a huge world with different biomes from forest to desert, as well as some areas where people used to live. The story will touch on humanity’s impact on Earth before extinction.

Players will jump across platforms, grind on rails, and explore a dark, sinister world in order to revive the Earth. But enemies are also present, so the journey is as dangerous as it is beautiful.

After Us will be released in Spring 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
