Lies Of P Is Getting A Physical Release [VIDEO]

Neowiz has arranged for the Pinocchio Souls clone story to be added to our shelves.

An agreement has been reached with Fireshine Games to produce a disc-based, in-store release of Lies of P in North America and Europe, but following the trend, only the console versions will be made. So don’t look for it on PC (although that would make sense…); just PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It won’t even come later than the digital version, but you can find it simultaneously on PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Steam as in stores…

“Inspired by the familiar story of Pinocchio, Lies of P is an action Soulslike set in a dark Belle Epoque world. As the puppet P, players must wind their way through the streets of the ruined city of Krat, crafting weapons from the materials found in the world and interacting with the remaining few who manage to survive in this hellscape. The more lies told, the more human players become, with all the advantages and disadvantages it entails. Experience profound narrative choices and deeply customizable character progression as you guide P on his unrelenting journey to become human. Highly anticipated by players, Lies of P was selected as the “Most Wanted Sony PlayStation Game” at gamescom Opening Night Live 2022 and awarded as the “Best Action Adventure Game” and “Best Role Playing Game” at the 2022 gamescom awards.,” Fireshine Games said of the game.

Sarah Hoeksma, director of marketing at Fireshine Games, said in the press release, “We are delighted to have partnered with Neowiz to release the physical version of Lies of P in western markets later this year. As one of the most anticipated games of 2023, we can’t wait for players to step into this deeply dark take on a classic tale and experience the adventure awaiting them.”

Lies of P will therefore be released on consoles in August in disc form but will also be available digitally for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
