Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom: Two Unpleasant News For Fans!

Nintendo has confirmed that it has no plans to unveil The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom at an upcoming major gaming convention in March. Moreover, the game’s price tag will be quite a shocker.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will not be displayed at this year’s PAX East, which will occur from March 23 to 26. While the news may disappoint some fans, Nintendo says there’s still plenty to be excited about at the Boston event. The game’s release date is fast approaching. Fans are probably baffled at the reason for missing PAX East, but the reason for the absence could be straightforward.

PAX East is returning live for its second year. Due to lingering COVID concerns, most prominent game developers skipped the 2022 event, leaving fans wondering if this will now be the standard. However, things seem to be looking up for PAX East, as two big names have confirmed their presence at the convention. Nintendo and Square Enix will both be there, with the latter bringing Final Fantasy 16, which is due out in June.

However, even though The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be released before the latest Final Fantasy, Nintendo has confirmed that it will not be showing the game at PAX East.

According to a Nintendo spokesperson, the company will host competitive games, but the exact activities were not further detailed. Regardless of what Nintendo is actually bringing to PAX East, it’s easy to speculate why Tears of the Kingdom is skipping the convention. Before the next Zelda game is released, Nintendo has another big release on its calendar. The Super Mario Bros. Movie. So it seems likely that Nintendo will choose to focus promotion on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom rather than The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for now.

Will Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom be expensive, but at least it will be good?

In a recent interview, Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser explained why The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be worth the higher price tag. The game will cost $70 instead of the $60 price point seen on most Nintendo Switch bundled editions. But Nintendo’s president believes the game’s price is justified.

In an interview with the Associated Press, Bowser says that the current price of Tears of the Kingdom reflects the experience Zelda fans can expect when playing this new Nintendo game specifically.

Nintendo has looked at what the game offers. They believe that fans will find it a profoundly immersive experience when it is released. Bowser reiterates that the $70 price tag will not be present on all Nintendo first-party releases. He claims that Tears of the Kingdom will be worth the price because of what the game offers.

In his comments on the $70 price tag, Bowser insists that the price increase will be determined on a case-by-case basis. The Nintendo of America president said the pricing model is standard practice in the United States, Europe and other parts of the world, where pricing can vary depending on the game. In this case, Nintendo decided the pricing of Tears of the Kingdom in-house. Several factors, such as the amount of content in the game and the current pricing model, were assessed beforehand.
