Everywhere: Former GTA Developer’s Debut Title To Include An In-Game AAA (Mini)Game?!

Those who play GTA designer Leslie Benzies’ mysterious open-world game Everywhere will also have access to another full AAA game within the game.

New details have emerged about Build a Rocket Boy Games’ debut Everywhere. It has been revealed to include a completely separate game playable within the mysterious open-world title. The fact that you can load the open-world action-adventure game, MindsEye, from within another game would undoubtedly fit in with designer Leslie Benzies’ claims that Everywhere is a “real-life Ready Player One”.

The debut release from developer Build a Rocket Boy Games, Everywhere is an open-world title for PC and consoles that will offer players multiple game types and a range of creation tools to design their own content.

The game is being developed by former Rockstar North staff. Among them is Leslie Benzies, who previously worked as lead developer on the Grand Theft Auto series.

Details remain tight on what exactly players can expect from Everywhere. But new information from gaming site Video Games Chronicle and a new trailer have provided some details about what Build by Rocket Boy Games has in store for players. As part of a studio tour provided to VGC, the developer revealed that it is working on a second AAA game called MindsEye. This will be playable exclusively within Everywhere. Described as a “high-octane, triple-A, story-driven action-adventure game”, MindsEye’s gameplay will be a cinematic mix of a technothriller and the open-world mayhem familiar to gamers from the Grand Theft Auto series.

The short teaser trailer for the aforementioned MindsEye packs a lot of exciting stuff into the 30-second playtime, and gives players a taste of what to expect from the full release when it becomes available.

Due to its short play time and mysterious nature, the MindsEye teaser probably raises more questions about Everywhere than it answers. But a Grand Theft Auto 6 release date is nowhere in sight. However, developer Build Rocket Boy Games promises that “Everywhere will be in the hands of players later this year”. So in the meantime, it’s sure to catch the attention of gamers looking for an open-world game.
