You Can “Recreate” this Iconic Star Wars Character in Jedi: Survivor!

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor players have discovered how to recreate a classic Star Wars video game character in Respawn’s brand new game, who was the hero of another franchise that has been undeservedly relegated to the sidelines.

Character testing is the heart and soul of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and players are already taking advantage of it to revive their old favourites. Those lucky enough to be able to enjoy Star Wars Jedi: Survivor to its full potential. The game has serious performance problems on PC, making it almost unplayable even on the most powerful systems. This has been an unfortunate problem recently that seems to be recurring, with The Last of Us Part 1 also suffering a disastrous launch due to performance issues. While bad PC ports have always existed, hopefully it won’t become commonplace in the industry. EA has already released a statement about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s performance issues, so there is still hope for gamers. Even with the issues, fans will still appreciate the ability to recreate a beloved character from old Star Wars content.

The character in question is Kyle Katarn, who became popular in the Star Wars Jedi Knight game series in the late 90s. Unfortunately, in the Disney era, Katarn has been relegated to legendary status, meaning he is no longer part of the official canon. Redditor NotJustJason98 has shown us a way to pay homage to him in the new game, using Cal Kestis’ Bandolier jacket in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The similarities are undeniable, even down to the single suit of armor. It’s a great reference to a bygone era of Star Wars, but one that shouldn’t be forgotten.

Players have noticed other outfits in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor that resemble other characters from the franchise.

For example, Jaden Korr from Jedi Outcast or Rosh Penin from Jedi Academy. In the game, there are many options for customizing the appearance of characters, such as hair color, skin color, lightsaber color and shape, etc. Players can use their creativity to create characters they would like to see in the Star Wars universe.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is an action-adventure game in which players take on the role of a surviving Padawan who escaped after Order 66. In the game, players can explore different planets, fight enemies, upgrade their lightsaber and Force abilities, and meet some of the most well-known Star Wars characters. The game’s story is officially part of the Star Wars canon.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released on 15 November for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
