PS Plus Premium members can now download a time-limited play trial for the latest release of a long-running franchise.

 

 

It was recently revealed that Sony is adding Football Manager 2023 to the service. PS Plus Premium subscribers will get all the benefits of the Essential and Extra tiers, along with some bonuses.

In addition, PS Plus Premium users will be able to download time-limited trials for specific titles, allowing them to try out these games for a limited number of hours.

This time varies from title to title. Some games offer up to five hours of playtime. Other trials last only one hour. Sony regularly updates the list of games available for Premium members to try out. Most recently, Football Manager 2023 was added to the collection.

As PlayStation Game Size revealed, PS Plus Premium subscribers can play Football Manager 2023 for up to two hours for free. Football Manager 2023 is a management simulator game in which players take control of a football team. Its intense gameplay mechanics and systems allow players to fully customize the team’s performance on the pitch while carefully planning the tactics and strategies needed to win matches. Football Manager 2023 received positive reviews upon its release. The PC version scored 82 points on Metacritic.

Players should note that the timer starts when the game is launched. They must close the title from the PS5 menu to stop the countdown. Two hours may not be enough time for players new to the Football Manager series to get to grips with the game and understand the different systems. Still, it should be an enjoyable insight into the franchise. It allows newcomers to get hands-on experience with Football Manager 2023.

In addition to Football Manager 2023, PS Plus Premium members can also check out trial versions of games such as Sonic Frontiers, Persona 5 Royal, Tactics Ogre: Reborn, and many more.

Trials are also available for first-party games such as God of War: Ragnarök and The Last of Us Part 1. Fans can play these for two to three hours.

Sony has not yet revealed what games will be coming to PS Plus Premium in June 2023. However, the May 2023 offering is still available. Premium level subscribers will be able to play Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, The Evil Within 2 and Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow for free.
