Microsoft has used the Xbox Games Showcase event to confirm that the racing game Forza Motorsport will be released on October 10 as the first daily game on Xbox Game Pass! Forza is one of Xbox’s flagship franchises alongside Halo and Gears of War. It is unique because it shares two types of racing game experiences.

Forza Horizon games are open-world, more arcade-focused racing games. In contrast, the Forza Motorsport games are more serious racing simulation games. The next instalment in the long-running series is the eighth under the Forza Motorsport banner. Now Xbox fans know precisely when they can play it.

As previously mentioned, Forza Motorsport will be released on October 10 as the first daily game on Xbox Game Pass. This means that subscribers on PC and Xbox Series X will be able to play Forza Motorsport as much as they want on launch day. Without actually paying the full price of the game. While racing games aren’t for everyone, it’s undeniable that the Forza Motorsport franchise is absolutely massive for Xbox. So the new instalment is sure to be one of the biggest Xbox Game Pass releases of the year.
