Former Xbox Console Exclusive Game Can Now Be Available On PS5?! [VIDEO]

A former Xbox console exclusive, which was also a day-one release of Xbox Game Pass, is making the jump to PlayStation 5.

Formerly an Xbox console exclusive, Naraka: Bladepoint is making the jump to PS5 on 13 July! Naraka: Bladepoint is a melee-focused battle royale game that has been an Xbox console exclusive for the past year. It was first available only on Xbox Series X consoles. Then, roughly six months later, came the Xbox One port.

Not only was it available exclusively on Xbox, but it also debuted as an Xbox Game Pass game on day one. Bladepoint had some success through Game Pass and was generally well received, although it didn’t do much of anything lasting. With its release on PS5, Naraka: Bladepoint could expand its potential audience. In the long run, this could mean a lot for the long-term survival of battle royale.

The game will also be free to play. This means that even those who have not signed up for the Xbox Game Pass subscription service on Xbox will soon be able to play Naraka. Naraka: Bladepoint is releasing a host of new content, including some PlayStation 5 exclusives, to celebrate this.

In addition to the PS5-exclusive items, Naraka: Bladepoint will include a new 12v12 game mode, Capture the Spirit Well, a new Dual Halberds weapon, a new playable character Tessa, rewards for those who purchased the game before getting in for free, a 3D lobby and more.

It will be interesting to see what all this new content will be worth. Will it be able to attract new players? Or even bring back players who have stopped playing and turned to other titles.

While some Xbox gamers may be envious of the PS5-exclusive items that are coming to Naraka: Bladepoint, they can look forward to the other new content that will be coming to the game. Those who bought the game on Xbox can snap up the veteran rewards. In contrast, those who played the game through Xbox Game Pass can also expect a lot. Those who have played Naraka: Bladepoint through Xbox Game Pass will get an upgrade to the Deluxe Edition and its rewards.

Naraka: Bladepoint is off to a strong start, and if all goes according to plan, it could easily make a big comeback. It’s just the latest former Xbox console exclusive to make the jump to PS5, and we’re curious to see what other games may be replaced shortly.
