Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3: Film’s Arrival On Disney Plus Revealed!

MOVIE NEWS – Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Disney Plus release date is officially just around the corner – just months after its theatrical premiere!

The latest phase of Marvel projects has been controversial. Several recent MCU films and series have disappointed fans. But Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 showed that Marvel Studios can still do it when it wants to. The film has been in theatres for ten weeks. As well as being critically and fan-acclaimed, it has dominated the box office, grossing $358 million in the US. Worldwide, it has grossed $842 million.

Marvel Studios has announced that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be released on Disney Plus on August 2 2023: Marvel fans with a subscription should be excited as they won’t have to wait too long to watch the film on the platform.

What’s more, this release date will be the day after the film is released on Blu-ray (the latter will be in stores on August 1.) The film has also been available digitally since July 7. It has not yet been announced if the film’s deleted scenes and bonus features will be available digitally and on Blu-ray only or if they will also be available on Disney Plus.

So, on August 2, Guardians fans will be able to watch the entire trilogy, as well as the Guardians of the Galaxy holiday special, all in one place. The latter includes some of the information you need to watch the third film.

The first Guardians of the Galaxy film became the cornerstone of the following MCU films. The MCU projects tried to copy what made the first film great. Balancing action and humour with varying degrees of success. Some fans say this made the movie formulaic. All of this holds them back from being truly great. However, with the critical and financial success of the latest instalment, the franchise can once again help to steer the MCU in the right direction.

Overall, the last Guardians of the Galaxy movie was a good one and well worth a watch for fans with a Disney Plus subscription.
