Remnant II Has Relatively Low System Requirements On PC [VIDEO]

Gunfire Games has taken its time to announce the system requirements for its game.

Let’s take a look at the system requirements, which can be found on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Minimum system requirements:

  • Operating system: Windows 10 (x64, no version number mentioned)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-7600 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 or better.
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon RX 590 or better
  • Free storage: 80 GB

Recommended system requirements:

  • Operating system: Windows 10 (x64, version number not mentioned)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-10600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or better
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 or better
  • Free storage: 80 GB

It’s relatively low, but that could change, as Remnant II has changed publishers, with the first installment being published by Perfect World Entertainment and the sequel, revealed at The Game Awards in December, will be published by Gearbox Publishing. You can expect them to put Denuvo in a few days before release sneakily, and more than one game has gone through the same scenario (The Callisto Protocol did the same thing late last year).

The video below introduces the Hunter class with this overview: “The Hunter focuses on long-range precision-based gameplay. Their perks are designed around making every hit count and capitalizing on each opportunity. The key to their entire kit is the Prime perk Dead to Rights: scoring ranged weak spots while a Hunter skill is active extends its duration beyond its initial values. In addition to the Prime, the Hunter also has a unique ability called Marking, when marked enemies can be seen through walls and are more susceptible to Critical Hits from the entire team.

Their first skill, Hunter’s Mark, instantly reveals and marks all enemies in a wide range while active. Every enemy is automatically marked for the entire team. With their second skill, Hunter’s Focus, their target will become automatically marked while aiming down sights if they remain focused without shooting. They gain considerable bonuses for accuracy, damage, and critical chance. The buff remains active so long as the Hunter remains aiming. Their third skill, Hunter Shroud, lets the Hunter instantly slip into the shadows, making it easier to avoid damage while moving. Their next attack, Drop Shroud, marks enemies within close range and grants a strong ranged and melee damage buff.

If the hunter doesn’t attack for a short duration, they instantly re-shroud. Rounding out their kit is the archetype trait Long Shot, which increases the effective range of all firearms.”

Remnant II will be released on July 25 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
