Emily Blunt Wants Cillan Murphy

MOVIE NEWS – There will be Quiet Place: Day One, i.e. the story about the attack of extraterrestrials with sophisticated hearing will be expanded into a trilogy, but it is not yet certain that Emily Blunt will be in it. The actress made the first two parts a success with her husband John Krasinski, and she would like to appear again, but only if Cillian Murphy is with her.

The Irish actor played an important character in Soundless 2, but he really impressed Blunt with his performance in Oppenheimer. In the biopic about the father of the atomic bomb, Murphy plays the world-famous scientist, and Blunt plays his wife. During the shooting, a close working relationship developed between them, which could determine their professional future. “I want to imagine this movie with him, and the fact that there is still a lot of untapped potential in the relationship between the two characters gives me a real opportunity to do that,” the actress told Yahoo Entertainment.

A Quiet Place: Day One will be a prequel, and so far such big names have been signed on as the two-time Oscar nominee Djimoun Hounsuo (Blood Diamond, in America</em) >) and Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave).

Featuring Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy, among others, Oppenheimer is one of the biggest hits of the summer cinema season, heading towards a total revenue of 600 million dollars after three weeks. It is Universal studio’s most successful coming-of-age film in 2023, and also the most popular World War II-themed production of all time in the studio’s history.

(Oppenheimer already in domestic cinemas!)
