More possible GTA VI leaks have surfaced! What’s surprising is that this time, their source could be the son of one of Rockstar’s developers. The leaks look real, thanks to some sleuthing from the Grand Theft Auto community.

After Rockstar announced the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, which will be released on December 5, the hype surrounding the game is in full swing.

We probably can’t expect the release of the game anytime soon. But fans are always clamouring for more information about the next instalment of the storied franchise. Despite Rockstar’s intense efforts to avoid game-related leaks, the developer may not have anticipated this scenario.

Uploaded initially to TikTok, the short video, which purports to be a Grand Theft Auto VI map, shows a city skyline within the game. Then he scans a highway. After some investigation by GTA fans, it turned out that certain buildings in the video are identical to buildings seen in other leaks. The latter have been proven to be authentic. However, the drama did not stop there. The person behind the leak claimed to know the son of a Rockstar developer, which is how they got access to the footage.

After being asked further by Twitter user GTA VI News, the leaker also revealed that the game would feature three major cities and four “sub-cities,” with a large lake in the centre of the map.

They explain that Grand Theft Auto VI’s map will be about twice the size of Grand Theft Auto V’s Los Santos. This seems to line up with past leaks about the game’s map.

It is unclear if this footage is from one of Rockstar’s developer sons. But the video shows Grand Theft Auto VI running on a PC in some sort of developer mode. Thus, the statement may even be true. There is only one day left until the official launch of GTA VI, and fans are eager to get a glimpse of the game’s development. Based on Rockstar’s previous revelations, fans can expect the first trailer to showcase the game’s primary setting. These will probably be the big cities while also hinting at what the story will be about.

Seeing as Rockstar’s announcement of Grand Theft Auto VI’s trailer broke Twitter records, the December 5 reveal of the game is likely to make huge waves online. The game will be the first addition to the Grand Theft Auto franchise since 2013. After the massive success of Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2018, fans eagerly anticipate the studio’s next flagship.
