Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League: Deathstroke Is A Good Choice

Rocksteady’s next game (which was originally scheduled for release in May, but Warner pushed it to 2024 while remaining a live service title) will also be expanded upon its release.

Rocksteady hasn’t escaped the leaks either. There will reportedly be a Horde mode, larger team battles against stronger bosses (raids), and a 4v4v4v4 multiplayer experience similar to Gambit in Destiny 2. However, Deathstroke joining Task Force X may be the most interesting new addition, and he was revealed in the game’s code to be expanded alongside Killer Frost and Killer Croc. There will be four Day 1 characters (Captain Boomerang, Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot), but Rocksteady has already confirmed that they will be expanding the cast after launch.

While they haven’t said how many new characters are planned, we can probably expect one per season. Deathstroke is a popular character due to his comic book and TV (Teen Titans) appearances, Slade Wilson was played brilliantly by Joe Manganiello, but the DCEU hasn’t really cast him in a major role in the movies. In the game, however, his popularity could help draw attention to Rocksteady’s product in the future.

We last saw him in Batman: Arkham Knight, but that was in a vehicle, and before that he had a classic fight in Batman: Arkham Origins. Joining Task Force X in the Arkhamverse seems logical, as in the scene after the credits of Batman: Arkham Origins, Amanda Waller offers him a position on the team. Based on this, Rocksteady can say that Slade has accepted the position and will only be working for Waller during the main story.

Deathstroke could be used by Rocksteady in an emergency, meaning if no one is interested in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, he could be an expansion for the studio, as he can use any firearm as an assassin and mercenary, and his swords are great in melee, but his wall climbing, double jumping and parkour could also be used…1
