The PC release was announced at the end of September, much to the delight of Horizon Forbidden West fans.

Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition finally has an official PC release date! The highly successful third-person action game will arrive on our personal computers in March.

In a new PlayStation Blog post, Nixxes Software’s online community expert Julian Huijbregts revealed that Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition will be released on PC on March 21st.

Some of the features of the PC version include support for ultra-wide resolutions. This means support for 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9 ultra-wide resolutions. As well as compatibility with three-monitor PC gaming stations.

In addition to mouse and keyboard support, the PC version of Horizon Forbidden West will also have extensive controller support. Those using the DualSense controller can do things like allow users to feel the tension of the bowstring thanks to the adaptive triggers. The controller’s haptic feedback will enable players to feel hits during combat. Steam Input support has also been confirmed. This allows users to remap their gamepad and adjust it to their own preferences.

No PC requirements have been announced yet. But Nvidia previously confirmed that Horizon Forbidden West will support DLSS 3. Thus, PC gamers with RTX 40 series graphics cards can achieve higher FPS in the game. However, the new blog post also revealed that Horizon Forbidden West will also support Intel’s XeSS and AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) super-sampling technologies. However, Huijbregts did not specify which FSR generation Forbidden West will support.

In any case, we are eagerly awaiting the PC arrival of one of the best PS games of 2022…
