MOVIE NEWS – The first trailer for Gru 4 is out: the favorite characters return, the new generation and the two new villains are introduced.

The most successful animated series in film history, the last member of the Gru franchise was Minions: Enter Gru two years ago, with an income of almost one billion dollars, it proved that there is still plenty of cocoa in the story. The current plot begins with the arrival of little Gru, Gru Jr., in the family, who considers it his primary task to make life hell for his reformed evil father. The other family members, Lucy and their little girls, Margo, Edith, and Agnes, of course, continue to spin with thousands, which is much needed, because the two new villains, Maxime Le Mal and his girlfriend Valentina, announce that now that Gru is on the right track, they are now making the world worse.

Gru 4- was created by the proven team led by Chris Meledandri, the founding CEO of the family animation studio Illuminations. Directed by Oscar nominee Chris Renaud (Gru, The Secret Life of Pets), co-directed by Patrick Delage (Sing! 2, The Secret Life of Pets 2), and the screenwriters are Emmy-winning Mike White (Ducklegs) and Ken Daurio, who had a hand in all the Gru movies.

The five films of the Gru franchise have grossed a total of $4.65 billion over 12 years, sold under the Gru trademark products (toys, household and souvenir items, food industry products) produced a total of 6 billion.
