The Quiet Place Franchise is Back on top With this Genius Move

MOVIE NEWS – The Voiceless series continues with a prequel film: in Voiceless: Day One, humanity meets voice-activated aliens for the first time. But the question arises: what new can be said after the first two episodes, especially when it is known that a third one is in the pipeline, which will follow the fate of Emily Blunt and the two children?

ScreenRant has considered what the prequel film could add to the franchise. With a bigger budget than the modestly budgeted first two installments, Without Voices: Day One promises more action and more drama. However, the strength of the film is probably the choice of actors – which was the big draw of the second part. Writer-director John Krasinski, who played the male lead in the first part, was no longer available for this opus, so an actor of a similar caliber had to be found. Cillian Murphy was chosen – who has since won an Oscar for his role as the title character in Oppenheimer. His portrayal of the mysterious, dramatic character proved to be the perfect solution, as he took the story in a new direction.

In the forthcoming prequel, the filmmakers have resorted to the same trick. They focused on the human element by casting two big-name actors in the lead roles. In addition, they both have experience in the horror genre. Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong’O (12 Years a Slave) was brilliant in Jordan Peele’s What, and Joseph Quinn showed he’s not afraid of alien life forms in Stranger Things.

ScreenRant also reports that No Voice: Day One promises more scares in addition to exciting characters. The setting is New York, where there are lots of people, a lot of noise and no children among the main characters, so there’s no reason for all hell to break loose.
