Xbox Game Pass: The First April 2024 Update

Microsoft has listed the games that Game Pass subscribers will have access to in its catalog, and while some titles will be leaving, this time there are several returning games on the list.

According to Microsoft’s announcement, Superhot: Mind Control Delete (console = Xbox Series, Xbox One; PC, cloud; returning title) is available again. Lego 2K Drive (console, cloud) is available today, April 3; Lil Gator Game (console, PC, cloud) and EA Sports PGA Tour (Xbox Series, PC, cloud; EA Play – PC Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate) arrive on April 4; Kona (console, cloud; returning title) and Botany Manor (Xbox Series, PC, cloud; new release) on April 9; Shadow of the Tomb Raider (console, PC, cloud) on April 11; and Harold Halibut (Xbox Series, PC, cloud; new release) on April 16.

In the case of DLC and updates, Microsoft has announced one thing, but it’s something that everyone can get without Game Pass, because it’s an update for No Man’s Sky Orbital, and Hello Games usually adds DLC to the base game without paying for it. There are three benefits of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Two of them have already been mentioned. You can try YouTube Premium for three months (but it comes with strings attached and is only available in certain countries; we’ve already covered that in more detail), Final Fantasy XIV Online: Starter Edition is available until April 19th, giving you 30 days to play and some add-ons for the game, and Battlefield 2042 comes with the Season 7 Field Kit.

And on April 15, the following titles are leaving Xbox Game Pass Amnesia Collection (console, PC, cloud), Amnesia: Rebirth (console, PC, cloud), Back 4 Blood (console, PC, cloud), Phantom Abyss (console, PC, cloud), Research and Destroy, and Soma (console, PC, cloud).

It’s not a huge update, but it would have been hard to top the previous one (Diablo IV).

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
