Xbox Games Showcase 2024: Schedule Leak?

Microsoft (who recently closed down several studios under Bethesda, which was not well received by the public) will announce several games during their E3 coverage. These have reportedly been leaked.

All of this has surfaced on 4chan, so it’s basically worth questioning everything you read there. Microsoft is supposed to open with Perfect Dark, but we also heard today that its development is pretty chaotic. The release window is said to be 2025. After that comes Fable from Playground, which has been in development for years and is supposed to be released in spring 2025. That will be followed by Avowed, which could reach the finish line in November.

Then there’s Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, a MachineGames game rumored to be coming out in December. It is being produced by Todd Howard, who directed Starfield. Bethesda Game Studios’ title reation is also featured in the coverage, with a trailer for the DLC, Shattered Space. The release date is set for September, one year after the release of the base game. There will also be a Fallout 3 remaster, which Microsoft is planning for October 2024.

South of Midnight is coming in 2025, which isn’t that good, and then we get a trailer for Overdose, which will be Hideo Kojima’s game (announced as OD) and will feature Kyle McLachlan. Toys for Bob, from whom we’ve seen new episodes of Crash Bandicoot, although independent from Microsoft, are still making something out of their IP. It’s rumored to be a new Banjo game. Then they’ll announce a remaster of Lost Odyssey, remasters of the first three episodes of Gears of War, Gears 6, and finally they’ll tease the next-gen Xbox and handheld platform in some form.

As we wrote in the beginning, this is all unofficial and we’ll probably see more of this during the coverage.
