Killing Floor 3: Join the Closed Beta To Eliminate Zeds! [VIDEO]

The release of Tripwire Interactive’s game isn’t that far away, but you can try out the third part of Killing Floor a month before its release.

Killing Floor 3 has been given a release date and will be preceded by a closed beta. You can sign up for it here, on the game’s website. The closed beta will start on Thursday, February 20th and run until February 24th.Tripwire Interactive also released a trailer for the game, and you can see here that we’ll have to wait until spring. The system requirements don’t look too bad, as we don’t even see any hardware released in the last two years on the recommended list.

Minimum system requirements:

  • 64-bit processor and operating system required
  • Operating system: Windows 10 x64 (no version number given)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4790/AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060/AMD Radeon RX 480
  • DirectX: DX12
  • Broadband internet connection
  • Free disk space: 20 GB

Recommended System Requirements:

  • 64-bit processor and operating system required
  • Operating system: Windows 11 x64 (version number not specified)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-9700K/AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060/AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT
  • DirectX: DX12
  • Broadband internet connection
  • Free disk space: 20 GB

There’s not much new in the trailer, but it’s interesting. Seventeen seconds into it we see a forearm mounted grenade launcher, which is pretty unusual.

Some Zeds (that would be the name of the zombie in the franchise) also appear, but maybe they’re too close to examine. Then there’s a hot dog that walks on two legs and is covered in teeth. We can expect nothing less from Tripwire Interactive’s new game, which, from what we’ve heard so far, will be less chaotic, but with more enemy types. The hotdog confirms this…

Killing Floor 3 will be released on March 25th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC. You can try it out between February 20th and 24th, but you’ll have to sign up!
