The 2021 sequel to Lost In Random (no longer developed by Zoink, but by Stormteller Games) has also parted ways with the publisher (it will be Thunderful Games instead of Electronic Arts).
In Lost in Random: The Eternal Cube, Aleksandra, formerly known as The Queen, and her companion, Fortune, have been captured by Mare the Knight in the Black Cube and are plotting their final chapter. Players will battle their way through a randomly generated gauntlet where they’ll face off against monstrous pawns and giant board games to claim treasures that will increase their chances of defeating Aleksandra’s tormentor. They must use their wits and their trusty dice companion to escape this living maze where evil reigns and chance rules.
Engage in fast-paced, second-by-second combat that blends real-time action with strategic decision-making – and a touch of luck. wield four unique weapons, cast your dice companion, and combine over 100 relics with powerful card-based abilities to unleash devastating synergies. Traverse four randomly generated worlds, each with its own secrets and challenges, and face over 30 different enemy types and formidable bosses. Immerse yourself in a fully voiced story set in a Tim Burton-inspired world, brought to life with hauntingly beautiful landscapes and an enchanting soundtrack.
Lost in Random: The Eternal Die received a demo on PC yesterday, and later today the Xbox Series will also get a trial of the game from Stormteller Games and Thunderful Games. Of course, the sequel to Lost in Random will not only be released on these two platforms, but we don’t know the exact release date yet (maybe not by chance).
Lost in Random: The Eternal Die will be released sometime this summer (between June and August) for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Presumably, the roguelike action-adventure genre game will also be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, so there’s no word yet on when it will be released.
