The Farm 51 will add more and more features to the second part of the Zone adventure thanks to crowdfunding.
The studio has been working on the game for more than three years and has reached another milestone. The Kickstarter campaign has now doubled its goal, allowing the team to reach six additional goals and expand the Chernobylite 2 sequel beyond the original plans. Our single-player and co-op missions will have new locations, the interface will be customizable, and funding will continue thanks to late funding. Check out the recap below to find out where the game received the most funding and what the studio did to properly and authentically map the zone…
The Farm 51 has confirmed that early access to Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone will begin on March 6th on Steam. This version will make about a third of the game’s content available, and the team can learn from the feedback to make sure the sequel is in good shape when it reaches 1.0. It is, of course, a post-apocalyptic role-playing game that combines free exploration in a realistic open world with challenging combat, base management and non-linear storytelling. Combat can also be experienced from a first-person perspective.
Character creation will not be left out of The Farm 51’s title, so we can develop him the way we want. He can be good at fighting, he can be great at dialog, or he can be a charming character who gets away with it. Fights can be with melee objects or even firearms. You can gain valuable items or upgrade your weapons by building a base, and you can give the people in your base jobs to maintain your supplies and weapons while you adventure around the Zone.
Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone will be available for the first time in Early Access on PC on March 6th. After this period, The Farm 51’s game will also be available on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
