Have Your Say on Oblivion Remastered – Bethesda Is Now Asking Fans for Ideas

How can Oblivion Remastered be improved? Bethesda is reaching out to the community for suggestions to polish its fantasy RPG even further. Players have already shared ideas like raising the difficulty level, adding dungeon completion markers, implementing a photo mode, and much more.

Fans of fantasy RPGs have plenty of reasons to celebrate: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is back, this time in a remastered version. Developed by Bethesda and Virtuos, the game dropped unexpectedly on April 21 and has since racked up impressive numbers, becoming one of the hottest topics in gaming circles. But the developers aren’t content to rest on their laurels — they are asking players to contribute ideas for making Oblivion Remastered even better. So, how would you improve the game?

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion – Remastered Hits 4 Million Players

Bethesda initially launched the feedback campaign on its official Discord server, but the conversation quickly expanded to platforms like Reddit (via Eurogamer UK). Gamers have wasted no time pointing out areas that could use fine-tuning in the world of Cyrodiil. The most common suggestion so far is tweaking the overall difficulty. “They should adjust the difficulty from Adept to Expert,” suggested a user named shanil55. Another player, Seraphayel, added: “Adept is way too easy, but Expert is practically unplayable because enemies have so much health and deal too much damage.”

Beyond that, players have also recommended that Bethesda add markers for completed dungeons, an idea borrowed directly from Skyrim. Other popular suggestions include options to modify character settings, improve animations, display item weight before picking things up, and more. Clearly, the community has no shortage of ideas for enhancing the Oblivion Remastered experience — now the ball is in Bethesda and Virtuos’ court to decide which ideas to implement.

Regardless of what improvements are ultimately made, one thing is clear: players are already enjoying Oblivion Remastered in its current state. Fans of fantasy RPGs have eagerly returned to Cyrodiil, and Bethesda has confirmed that the remaster has surpassed 4 million players across all platforms, including Game Pass. It’s safe to say that the magical world of Cyrodiil has once again captured the imagination of adventurers everywhere.
