Cronos: The New Dawn Arrives This Fall – Bloober’s Horror Epic Bends Time and Reality

Cronos: The New Dawn, the chilling new survival horror from Bloober Team, launches this fall on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam), the developer has confirmed.

Cronos: The New Dawn delivers a unique time-bending survival horror experience across two timelines: a ruined future and 1980s Poland. Players are thrust into a world inspired by Krakow’s real Nowa Huta district, where surviving means manipulating time itself. You take on the role of a Traveler, an agent of the mysterious Collective, sent from a dystopian future to extract people before the apocalypse claims them. Along the way, grotesque enemies known as the Orphans stalk your every move.

Don’t Let Them Merge

The new gameplay trailer showcases tense survival inside the Orphans’ nest, offering a closer look at these body-horror monstrosities. Orphans are unnervingly aggressive and relentless, making every encounter a desperate fight. Most crucially, defeated enemies must be burned immediately, or they risk being absorbed by others—triggering a “merge” that spawns even stronger and faster threats.

Exploring the Twisted Realms of the New Dawn

The trailer also teases the story of a mysterious Predecessor (Traveler ND 3500) and their cryptic travel log. Players will explore unsettling post-apocalyptic environments inspired by real Nowa Huta architecture, now warped and twisted by reality-bending anomalies.
