Built on Unreal Engine 5, Borderlands 4 launches at $70 for the base edition, with Deluxe and Super Deluxe versions loaded with DLC and extras. The PC system requirements are refreshingly mild: an 8-core CPU, 16 GB RAM, and RTX 2070 are enough to get started, with just an SSD required at launch. The Nintendo Switch 2 version arrives later this year, and Gearbox promises more content updates down the line.
Borderlands 4, powered by Unreal Engine 5, will expand post-release as is tradition for the franchise. The base edition costs $70. The Deluxe Edition is $100 and includes the Bounty Pack Bundle with four DLCs (each with new areas, missions, bosses), four Vault Cards (unique challenges and rewards), new gear and weapons, four vehicles, and Vault Hunter cosmetics—including the Firehawk’s Fury weapon skin.
The Super Deluxe Edition is priced at $130. Beyond the Deluxe content, it adds two new Story Packs (each with a new Vault Hunter, story, side missions, two new regions, new gear and weapons), more Vault Hunter and Echo-4 cosmetics, plus the Ornate Order Pack (four skins, heads, and bodies). Gearbox will reveal even more details closer to launch.
