Konami’s franchise, now experiencing a revival, may soon appear in Epic Games’ popular battle royale title.
Frequent collaborations with other franchises are central to Fortnite’s ongoing success, so rumors about future crossovers constantly emerge, no matter how surprising. The latest season is packed with them: after a leak revealed that Fortnite would get a Deep Rock Galactic skin, Epic Games confirmed it. Just in the last month, collaborations included Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Squid Game, One Punch Man, and the band Gorillaz. Chapter 6 Season 4 isn’t over yet, and some players claim they already know the next major crossover.
Leaker Wensoing announced on Twitter that Silent Hill will soon arrive in the game. He didn’t disclose his sources but emphasized that these same insiders accurately leaked Season 3 and 4 details. With Silent Hill F launching on September 25, the timing seems logical. The latest entry in the horror series, which debuted more than 25 years ago, has already generated significant media buzz. Featuring it in Fortnite would be an obvious way to extend marketing reach and engage a broader audience.

A collaboration between Silent Hill and Fortnite might sound odd at first. Fortnite has a large youth player base, while Silent Hill is notorious for disturbing content that comes with mental health warnings. Still, Fortnite has previously introduced skins from adult-oriented horror franchises. Epic Games has partnered with a wide range of games, shows, and films in the past, so nothing is off the table. While there’s no official confirmation of this crossover yet, there’s little reason to rule it out completely.
Silent Hill also isn’t the only horror franchise rumored for the battle royale. Wensoing claimed that Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th could appear in Fortnite as part of Halloween festivities, which the game has often celebrated with special events. If either rumor proves true, the coming months could be exciting for both horror enthusiasts and Fortnite fans alike.
