Axe Cop: A JRPG Written by a Five-Year-Old Is Coming to Consoles! [VIDEO]

Red Triangle Games and Electric Airshop have ported this Japanese-style, turn-based RPG to almost every modern console.

Have you ever wondered what a professional-caliber JRPG written by a five-year-old would look like? Well, we did it. No filters at all. Meet Malachai Nicolle, age five, the narrative director of Axe Cop. He likes dinosaurs, warthogs, and Santa Claus. Malachai pits Axe Cop and his team of powerful warriors against the deadliest, most disgusting, and most horrifying villains his imagination can conjure. Take on missions against devious enemies like Bad Santa Claus, Dr. Stinkyhead, Dr. Doo Doo, and more! Axe Cop is great for casual and hardcore RPG gamers alike, offering plenty of strategy, quests, and story for any gamer to sink their axe into.

After discovering his axe at the scene of a mysterious fire, Axe Cop‘s career as the most epic hero begins. After he recovers a mysterious machine capable of turning any bad guy into a good guy, he and his team are convinced that they can stop all the bad guys once and for all. However, they must first hunt down three magic gems to power it up. Along the way, Axe Cop faces off against his most diabolical rogues and visits some of the most dangerous locations in his comic book history: a volcano full of dinosaurs, the insides of a giant monster, and even London itself! The villains are teaming up, which will make it even harder for Axe Cop to find these magic stones.

Engage in turn-based battles with a modern twist. Build your team, customize your stats, and develop powerful abilities as you level up. Each character brings something unique to the table. Chop through obstacles, play awesome music, or throw a remote-controlled sock boomerang. Yes, really! Every character offers something unique to each level. Almost every Axe Cop character is in the game, including obscure ones like El Fuego, a wrestler turned potato. The game is inspired by the full run of the comic and features main missions and side content that capture its anything-goes energy.

Axe Cop has made the leap from comic book to game. It was released for PC on November 6, 2020, and will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on May 4. The only console missing is the Nintendo Switch 2.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
