MOVIE NEWS – In the new thriller “Furious,” created by Elizabeth Meriwether, FBI agent Alice Black (Emmy Rossum) hunts a mysterious and calculating female serial killer (Lola Petticrew). The series debuts on Disney+ on Monday, July 27.
Created by Elizabeth Meriwether, the series “Furious” follows the story of FBI agent Alice Black (Emmy Rossum), who sets out on the trail of a mysterious and cunning female serial killer. Both women fight for their own version of justice, and as their destinies become intertwined, the line between good and evil becomes increasingly blurred.
The series’ main cast includes Emmy Rossum, Lola Petticrew, Scoot McNairy, Quincy Tyler Bernstine and Jake Lacy. Elizabeth Meriwether is the creator, writer and executive producer of the series. Emmy Rossum also served as an executive producer on behalf of Composition 8 alongside Ronald Bass, Matt Olmstead and Sam Hoffman. The first two episodes of the series were directed by Brian Kirk, who also served as an executive producer on the production. The series was produced by 20th Television and Searchlight Television.
