The Public Is Criticizing the Marketing for Grand Theft Auto VI So Far!

There’s something to that. The game’s release is just over a quarter away, yet we’ve barely seen anything about it.

Last month, the marketing campaign for Grand Theft Auto VI kicked off with a bang, revealing numerous new screenshots and details about the game. Among other things, Rockstar Games confirmed that the game will perform optimally on the PlayStation 5. The company also hinted at a possible chapter-based structure for the story, giving fans plenty to analyze and debate. However, nearly a full month has passed, and the team still hasn’t picked up the pace, leaving fans disappointed in the marketing efforts thus far.

Recently, social media platforms such as Twitter have been flooded with comments from fans expressing concern about Rockstar Games’ marketing plans for Grand Theft Auto VI. Many have noted that the team’s silence is unusual, especially since there are fewer than four months until the game’s release. Even Rockstar Games fans have noted that the team seems unusually quiet at the moment.

Some have compared the current situation to the period leading up to the release of Red Dead Redemption 2. At this stage of its marketing cycle, Red Dead Redemption 2 had already received tons of exciting press coverage and trailers. However, others have stated that three months of marketing isn’t enough for a massive release like Grand Theft Auto VI.

According to an insider, Rockstar Games is set to release the third trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI in early August. This could mark the beginning of a massive wave of trailers, global marketing campaigns, and other initiatives from Rockstar Games. In any case, Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to break all kinds of records and transform the gaming industry.

It will be released on November 19 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
