Sony Computer Entertainment Japan’s Tokyo Game Show conference gave a bit of chance for a foreigner developer/publisher, namely Ubisoft, which was pronounced as you-bee-eye soft on the English translation stream. They brought For Honor, which was announced at E3, but for the Japanese crowd, they started announcing the characters with a local one, because the first unveiled hero in the game is the Oni, which is on the Samurai’s side. (It’d have been awkward to see them start with say, the Vikings… but who knows?)
Oni is a speedy and tricky character, who uses his katana on… or more like, in his enemies, and for defense, he has wooden and leather armour to wear. He has tricks: he can poison his blade, throw kunais at others, and also, the Arrow Storm special attack. It seems to us that the Oni is going to be really offensive, but he is more formidable than that, especially because of the kunai.
So Ubisoft, when will we see some actual gameplay of For Honor? Next E3? That’s far. The game is going to be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
