Davy x Jones: The Legendary Pirate Story Turns Into an FPS [VIDEO]

Parasight’s game will take a cautious first step with a PC-only early access launch.

Betrayed, robbed, and beheaded, the legendary pirate Davy Jones sinks into The Locker — the seafarers’ afterlife. But death is only the beginning of his epic revenge. Command the headless captain, Jones, and strike an unlikely pact with his stubborn skull, Davy, as you reclaim stolen artifacts and confront your eternal nemesis: Blackbeard.

Play as the infamous Davy Jones split in two: the skull cracks wise and guides the way while you drive his powerful, headless body — a bizarre, unforgettable alliance. Traverse The Locker, a surreal pirate hell torn into nine islands drifting across an endless sea of clouds. Face twisted fiends, cursed souls, and legendary behemoths — including the Kraken — who guard the underworld’s darkest secrets.

Push through everything that stands in your path. Master fast-paced first-person combat with a sword, a firearm, and your own talking skull to carve your way back into legend. Every fallen foe drops volatile underworld essence; when essences converge, they fuse into a treasure chest packed with loot — but each chest also unleashes an unpredictable monster. Meet Abby, a young behemoth — part ship, part whale — who serves as your base, your artillery, and your ally. Recruit legendary officers to crew her and unleash devastating abilities, including mid-fight cannon barrages. Grow in power and unlock your true nature: the only way out of Davy Jones’ Locker is to become the devil himself.

Davy x Jones hits PC in Early Access on August 28. For the first six days, six hours, and six minutes, it’ll cost $6.66. The full version is also planned for consoles, with specific platforms to be announced.
