Still, in recent months it found itself at a crossroads — one that has finally led to the addition of a long-awaited event in Crusader Kings III. Fans have spent years asking for it, and it’s a feature that adds meaningful depth to the game’s dynastic power mechanics: the coronation of a new monarch.
The upcoming Coronations DLC is categorized as an event pack — a smaller-scale expansion focused on specific gameplay moments. This time, the spotlight is on the ceremonial act of ascending to the throne, a request that users have been making for years on forums and Reddit threads. Paradox has answered their call and is now delivering a feature with real diplomatic and strategic weight.
