The Chinese Room and Paradox Interactive have finally broken their silence: the cult vampire RPG sequel has an official date.

Players will follow the story through two alternating characters: Phyre, an Elder vampire, and Fabien, a Malkavian detective. After centuries of vampiric torpor, Phyre awakens in modern-day Seattle with a mysterious mark that seals away their Elder powers, while Fabien’s voice echoes in their mind. As Phyre, players interact with Seattle’s ruling Kindred, each with their own ambitions, uncovering the city’s hidden secrets while reclaiming lost powers. Between nights, dreams and memories from Fabien’s past take over. In these segments, players explore a 1920s neo-noir Seattle, solving Fabien’s own murder through his unstable Malkavian perception, where fact and delusion often blur together.

The game takes players deep into Seattle’s underworld, where vampires fight for survival and dominance. Players navigate complex political intrigues, stalk prey in the streets, and engage in brutal combat, all while upholding the Masquerade—the iron law of secrecy that shields vampire society from humans. Four clans form the backbone of the base game: the rebellious Brujah, the blood-magic-wielding Tremere, the justice-driven Banu Haqim, and the persuasive Ventrue, each with distinct Disciplines, outfits, and play styles.

The base edition will retail for $60/€60. Pre-orders grant access to the Bloodlines Nostalgia Jukebox, a Haven decoration featuring music by Rik Schaffer, the original game’s composer. The Deluxe Edition costs $70/€70 and adds the Santa Monica Memories cosmetic pack, inspired by the original cult classic, to decorate Phyre’s apartment. This pack can also be purchased separately for $12/€12. The $90/€90 Premium Edition bundles Santa Monica Memories with the Shadows & Silk DLC, which unlocks the Lasombra and Toreador clans, each offering unique powers, playstyles, and outfits. Shadows & Silk is also sold separately for $22/€22.

All Deluxe and Premium content will be instantly available to players who purchase Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 at launch on October 21, when it arrives on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
