Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Is Coming to Nintendo Switch 2 – And a New DLC Launches Soon! [VIDEO]

Following its launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, MachineGames and Bethesda Softworks’ action-adventure hit is now heading to Nintendo’s next-generation console as well.

The award-winning game Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, developed by MachineGames in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, received two major announcements at this year’s Gamescom. First, the game is confirmed to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 sometime in 2026. This news was revealed alongside a brand-new gameplay trailer for its upcoming DLC, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants, which debuted during the same event.

Scheduled for release on September 4 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, this story-driven DLC follows Indiana Jones into the underbelly of bustling Rome, as he uncovers the dark secrets of the Order of the Nephilim, facing off against deadly cultists, navigating intricate puzzles, and confronting the horrors lurking in the shadows.

Set during the events of the main game, The Order of Giants sends Indy on a perilous quest initiated by a mysterious young priest. Along the way, players will explore the maze-like tunnels of the Cloaca Maxima, confront the sinister Cult of Mithras, and uncover legends of an ancient monster. From eerie crypts to the sacred Tiber River, the adventure will take players across stunning new locations in Rome, all accompanied by an original soundtrack.

Players who already own the Premium Edition, Premium Upgrade, Collector’s Edition, or Collector’s Bundle of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on any current platform will receive access to this new content on launch day. It will also be available as a separate purchase—but the base game is required to play it.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of the Giants launches on September 4 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. The main game is also headed to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
