PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium: the November update is abysmal!

We’re not kidding: This time, you can count on two hands the number of games coming to the middle and top tiers of PlayStation Plus.

The PlayStation Plus Game Catalog is a selection of games made available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. The problem is that one of the games was already part of the subscription service. It’s the same title that billbil-kun leaked earlier. He continues to provide reliable information about PlayStation.

The following games will be added to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog: Grand Theft Auto V (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), Insurgency: Sandstorm (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), Monster Jam: Showdown (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), MotoGP 25 (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), Pacific Drive (PlayStation 5), Still Wakes the Deep (PlayStation 5), The Talos Principle II (PlayStation 5), and Thank Goodness You’re Here! (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), and Thank Goodness You’re Here! (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4). The trick is that, out of these eight games, Grand Theft Auto V is a repeat. We’ve already reported on its return to Sony’s subscription service.

The PlayStation Plus Classics Catalog is only available to players with a PlayStation Plus Premium membership. Here, Sony has delivered once again, adding just one PS2 title to the list: Tomb Raider: Anniversary (PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4). It’s worth subscribing to the most expensive level of PlayStation Plus for that alone! PlayStation Blog commenters are missing VR games, and this is a valid point. Although PlayStation VR and PlayStation VR2 are niche hardware, they still have a user base that should be catered to.

The above-mentioned games will be available on November 18. Unfortunately, Sony has once again refused to disclose the list of games that will be leaving. We’re not joking, but more games will definitely be leaving than joining.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
