Although MegaPixel Studio, Storm Trident, and Forever Entertainment haven’t released a demo everywhere, you can still try it out!
Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake is an updated version of the second game in the popular rail shooter series. It transports players to a unique world where ancient ruins, imperial power, and mysterious creatures determine the fate of an entire continent. Play as Jean Jacque Lundi, a young rider who embarks on a perilous journey with his extraordinary dragon companion, Lagi. The journey is filled with battles, discoveries, and the secrets of ancient civilizations. The classic on-rail shooter gameplay features fast-paced combat in which you strike down enemies with Lundi’s gun and Lagi’s devastating lasers. With the Berserk Attack at your disposal, even the toughest encounters may turn in your favor.
The story takes place 20 years before the events of the first Panzer Dragoon game. Lagi’s growth depends on your play style and combat performance. This dynamic rail shooter provides fast-paced action, intense encounters, and epic boss battles. Multiple paths through the levels increase replayability. Unleash a Berserk Attack to turn the tide of battle. After completing the campaign, unlock additional gameplay options, modifications, and mission variants. The game includes the original soundtrack, as well as a remastered version arranged by Saori Kobayashi. The modern graphics remain faithful to the original style. You can choose between classic and modern control schemes.
You can try out Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake on PC; the demo is available as part of Steam Next Fest. However, that doesn’t mean the rail shooter won’t be available elsewhere; it will also be released on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It will cost $25, but the release date is not yet known. This is a bit strange, but perhaps they will announce it soon.
