Path tracing and ray reconstruction – these two technologies will initially be missing from the PC port of IO Interactive’s new game. The system requirements are here, but the flashiest PC extras will have to wait.

The Danish studio has shared the updated PC system requirements for its James Bond prequel, so let’s look at the list:

IO Interactive has also confirmed that the game will have an unlocked frame rate on PC, allowing players with high-end hardware to set the refresh rate to the highest value allowed by their monitor and graphics card; that upper limit will be pushed further by support for DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and DLSS Dynamic Multi Frame Generation. What we will have to wait for, however, is path tracing support, which IO Interactive has confirmed will not be available at launch. The same applies to DLSS ray reconstruction support, as the studio says both features will arrive sometime in summer 2026.

007 First Light launches on May 27 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, while the Nintendo Switch 2 port will arrive at a later date.
