Let’s go three years back in time. In 2012, Quantic Dream has shown off a certain tech demo (which was running on the PS3 back then), featuring Kara, who ends up becoming a human in some sorts. Well, David Cage has taken this storyline further and made Detroit: Become Human, which – following our guess – is coming exclusively to the PlayStation 4; it was announced yesterday on the Paris Game Week conference.
The main character is a robot, who malfunctions and ends up having human emotions and is able to feel and make decisions itself. It’s questionable how Quantic Dream can even make a story out of this, because let’s be honest, this is a bit… clichéd so far. Even the questioning humanity line too.
Still, we have to give credit where due, the trailer looks astonishing, it might even rival The Order: 1886 in this aspect! Speaking of Quantic Dream: while they took playable versions of the PS4 versions of Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls, their release date in the Quantic Dream Collection is still not announced. Wow…?
