Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader: A Physical Edition Is Coming to Two Current-Gen Consoles! [VIDEO]

The Voidfarer Edition skips one platform, but considering its increasingly digital trend, it is somewhat understandable that it has been left out.

Owlcat Games and Silver Lining Interactive have announced the Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader Voidfarer Edition. This physical edition will launch on October 15 for PlayStation 5 at $60 or €60, and Nintendo Switch 2 at $70 or €70. It is unclear whether the Switch 2 port will be a Game-Key Card release or whether the full game will be included on the cartridge. It can already be preordered through Silver Lining Direct and local retailers.

The Voidfarer Edition includes the first season pass, granting access to two massive, 15-hour story expansions: Void Shadows and Lex Imperialis. It also contains a digital artbook and wallpaper pack with concept art and high-resolution backgrounds, as well as the soundtrack, which includes selections from both DLC expansions.

The package also features a unique Rogue Trader Throne, an impressive cosmetic upgrade for the voidship bridge. Players receive a Firestorm-class Frigate, an alternative starting voidship with unique equipment and appearance, as well as a Cherub Pet that replaces the standard Servo-skull companion with a loyal Cherub.

Premium in-game weapons are included too. Players can purge heretics with the Blast Wave Shotgun, which pushes enemies away, the devastating Wrath of Saint Drusus Chainsword, and the ancient Heirloom Autopistol.

This physical release has taken some time to arrive. Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader first launched digitally for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC on December 7, 2023. The Nintendo Switch 2 port followed on December 11, 2025, meaning the physical edition is arriving on PlayStation 5 nearly three years later and on Nintendo Switch 2 almost a year after the digital version.

At least it is coming, which cannot be said about Grand Theft Auto VI, although Rockstar and Take-Two may still decide to issue a disc version later.
