Grip Studios and Astragon Entertainment are expanding the franchise with a new installment that they are treating as a significant evolution.
Fans of police simulators can look forward to a brand-new game in their favorite series that represents a significant leap forward in every respect, from graphics and traffic and vehicle behavior to the realistic use of firearms. Grip Studios, based in Slovakia, is developing the new Police Simulator. They previously collaborated with Astragon Entertainment on Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator.
Police Simulator transports players to the U.S. East Coast, specifically the fictional metropolis of Faremont City. The city comprises three diverse districts, each made up of up to five distinct neighborhoods. There, players will step into the role of a police officer and uphold law and order by completing over 50 different tasks and missions, ranging from parking violations to drug offenses and robberies. In addition to a human partner in cooperative mode, players can now choose a four-legged companion. The introduction of K-9 gameplay brings a long-awaited, fan-requested feature to the Police Simulator series. Another community-requested feature included in the game is the realistic use of firearms and stun guns, which adhere to a clear escalation protocol.
In addition to foot patrols, players have a wide range of police vehicles at their disposal to maintain law and order across a vast, populated map. These vehicles include spacious SUVs and fast patrol cars. Sophisticated driving physics and lively AI traffic, including public transportation, ensure a realistic driving experience.
Police Simulator was developed with Unreal Engine 5. Players can explore the diverse districts of the US-inspired metropolis of Faremont City via over 50 realistic missions and callouts. As we progress in our career, we can unlock new districts, vehicles, and tools, as well as character customization. There is also a wide range of police vehicles to choose from, specialized tools such as radar guns, stun guns, and firearms, a K-9 companion, and a two-player cooperative mode with cross-play.
Police Simulator is coming to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC in 2027.
